Training Groups
NOTE:
Requirements for membership in the various training groups are based on ability, age, speed, maturity, attitude, toughness in practice, and commitment level.  Swimmers move to the next group when coaches determine that they have met the requirements.  All changes between groups are discussed among coaching staff and finalized by the Head Coach.

Swim practice is held rain or shine.  If there is any practice cancellation, a team email will be sent and the website will be updated with this information as soon as possible.

It is the responsibility of all swimmers to be at every practice.  With this in mind, it is also the responsibility of all swimmers to have their water bottles, swim equipment, etc. prepared and brought to practice.  Protective swim bag bins are provided (Milburn Pool only) to keep individuals' swim bags at the pool; these bins are stored and locked each night at the pool.
This group is designed for the novice swimmer who can perform at least two of the four competitive strokes.  Emphasis is on stroke mechanics, sportsmanship, and the rules of competitive swimming.  The practices are geared to create an enjoyable atmosphere for instruction.  Swimmers in this group begin attending local level meets.
